Sher E Punjab Restaurants is right on the ground floor of Omkar Chambers. We are directly opposite the Surat Railway Station, so it’s very easy to find us if you are just getting off a train or waiting for one. The address is 395003 if you need the postal code. Being at the station means things are always moving fast around here. People are always in a hurry. We see a lot of travelers with bags and families looking for a quick meal before they head out. Omkar Chambers is an old building, but it works for us. We’ve been here serving food for years. It isn’t a quiet place because of the trains and the station noise, but we like the energy. We have several tables set up on the ground floor so you don’t have to climb any stairs with your luggage. We keep things pretty basic. No fancy decorations or anything like that. We just focus on getting the food out to the tables. Most people just walk in from the street or across from the station entrance. It's a convenient spot, even if the traffic in front can be a bit of a mess sometimes. We’re just a bunch of people working here trying to make sure everyone gets fed before their next journey starts. That’s about it for us. We usually open up early and close up when it gets dark outside.
