Sheena Textile Limited

We are located out on Bardoli Road in the Palsana and Rustampura area, near Sachin. This is a very industrial part of the region, so there are many textile units all around us. The air always has a bit of a smell of fabric and processing. Our building is a practical one, built for work rather than looking pretty. We have high ceilings and a lot of floor space for the textile machinery and the big rolls of cloth. It gets very loud when everything is running, so we have to talk quite loudly to hear each other. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of desks and some old filing cabinets. We deal with a lot of logistics, so there are always drivers coming in with paperwork for the loads they are carrying. It’s a dusty environment because of the trucks on Bardoli Road and the lint from the fabrics. We have a small tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. The work is repetitive but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We don't have many walk-in customers since we are mostly doing wholesale and industrial work. It is just a regular factory life with its own set of daily challenges, like keeping the machines serviced and making sure the production stays on track despite the heat and the noise that comes with the job.
