If you look for Sharan Lace & Company, you will find us on the ground floor at No. 3/2869. We are right near Millennium Market on Ring Road. Being near Kamela Darwaja and opposite 451 Market means it is always loud and crowded around here. Traffic on Ring Road never seems to stop. Our shop is full of lace rolls and different trimmings. It gets dusty because of all the fabric fibers in the air. We spend our time measuring out lengths and packing orders. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it. The ground floor location is good because we don't have to carry heavy boxes up the stairs. We see a lot of different people coming through the doors every day. Sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming with the heat and the noise from the market outside. We have been here for a long time. The shelves are packed high with all sorts of lace. You have to be careful walking around so you don't trip over a stray roll. We just get on with it. There isn't much time for sitting around. When the sun goes down, the market gets even busier sometimes. We just keep the lights on and keep working until the shutters go down. It is a practical life, working with lace here near the Millennium Market area. It's just what we do. The lace business is steady, and we just keep it moving every day.
