Shailesh Exports

Shailesh Exports is tucked away at 3/2194 in Piperdi Sheri. We are right on Ramdwar Road in the Salabatpura area. This neighborhood is known for its narrow streets and a lot of textile activity. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s a traditional building, not one of those new glass towers. We handle a lot of different things for export, mostly textiles since that’s what this part of the city is famous for. The space is often cramped because we have a lot of stock coming in and going out. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy logo on the wall. It’s just us and the work. Salabatpura is a busy place, and Piperdi Sheri always has something going on. You hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We try to stay organized, but with so much moving around, it’s a constant battle. We don't use big corporate words to describe what we do. We just pack up the goods and send them where they need to go. Our neighbors are other people doing similar things. We share a tea or a quick chat when we have a break. It’s an old-school way of doing business. We’ve been at this address for years and it feels like home to us. It gets hot in the afternoons and the traffic is a nightmare, but we stay busy.
