Sarthi Sarees

Sarthi Sarees is located right on the ground floor of Golwala Market at number 1056. Being on the ground floor is great because we don't have to deal with stairs when moving heavy bags of sarees. The shop is right on the Ring Road so there is constant traffic and noise outside our door. Golwala Market is a busy place especially in the mornings when the new stock arrives. We have been here for quite some time and have seen the market change over the years. Our space is pretty packed with sarees stacked from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit overwhelming for someone who isn't used to it. We spend most of the day showing different pieces to customers who walk in from the street. There is no real sales pitch here we just show what we have. Most of our customers are regulars who know where to find us. We don't bother with fancy displays or lighting. The lights in the market are bright enough anyway. It is a lot of standing and moving around but that is just the nature of the work. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the shop running smoothly. It is a simple life in a busy market. We don't have much time for talking about anything other than the sarees and the daily work we have to do.
