Sarovar Sarees

Sarovar Sarees is located inside the Kohinoor Textile Market at shop B-4225. If you know the market you know it is a massive place with thousands of shops. We are just in one of the many corridors there. It is a small space but it holds a lot of sarees. We spend our days folding and unfolding different pieces for people who stop by. The market is always buzzing with people from all over coming to buy stock. It can get really hot in the afternoons but we have a couple of fans going. Most of our work is just keeping track of what is in stock and what needs to be ordered. We don't have a website or a big marketing plan. We just open up in the morning and wait for customers to walk through the door. Some of them have been buying from us for years now. It is a very traditional way of doing business I guess. The aisles in Kohinoor can be confusing if you are not used to them. We are just tucked away in the B block doing what we do every day. It is a lot of hard work but it is what we know. We mostly deal with local traders who need stuff for their own shops. It is a basic lifestyle here and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't.
