Sankat Mochan Sarees

You can find us over at 102 Lunkad Villa, right near Law College on the road that leads to Indsearch. It’s a bit of a different spot compared to the big markets, being tucked into this area. Sankat Mochan Sarees has been operating from here for a bit now. Being close to the college means there is always some activity outside, though it’s usually students looking for snacks or heading to class. Our space is part of the villa, so it has a slightly different feel than a standard storefront. We handle a lot of sarees every day. Some days the piles of fabric get pretty high on the tables while we are sorting through them. It can get a bit messy when we are busy, but we try to keep it decent. The walk from Ring Road isn't too bad if you know the shortcuts. We don't have a big flashing sign or anything like that, just our door and the work we do inside. Sometimes the parking out front is a bit of a headache because of the narrow road, but we manage. Most of our neighbors are used to us by now. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure people get what they asked for. It's a quiet enough routine most weeks, except for the wedding seasons when things get a bit frantic around the shop.
