Sajavat Glass

Sajavat Glass is located down in Adajan, right on Marimata Lane. We are in the Green Park Complex which is pretty easy to find because it is right opposite the new water tank. Having a glass business means we have to be very careful every single day. One wrong move and something breaks, so we move a bit slower than other shops. The lane can get pretty narrow when people park their scooters on both sides. We have been at this spot on Rajmahal Road for a good while now and we like the neighborhood. Inside the shop, it smells like cut glass and cleaning spray most of the time. We don't have a fancy showroom, just racks and tables where we do our work and keep the tools. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat while we are measuring out pieces for a project. The water tank across the street is a good landmark for people who are coming to visit us for the first time. We don't spend money on big ads or fancy signs. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here and people in Adajan know who we are. The afternoons are usually quiet, which is when we try to get most of the cutting done before the evening rush. It’s a messy job with all the little scraps of glass, but it’s what we do. We just keep things moving and try to stay out of the hot sun when we can.
