Saikrupa Textile

Our business is located at 10-4-35/5/1 in Humayun Nagar. We are quite close to the Sarojini Eye Hospital, which is the main landmark people use to find us. We deal in textiles, and our shop is basically our second home. It’s a regular building and we use the space to store and sell different kinds of fabrics. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small businesses, so it feels very local. We don't have any corporate office or anything like that. It's just a place where we do our daily work, drink our tea, and talk to our suppliers. The street outside can get a bit congested with parked bikes and people going to the hospital, but we've learned to deal with the noise. We keep our operations simple. We buy fabric, we check it, and we sell it. There’s nothing complicated about it. We don't use any fancy software to track things; we still use notebooks for a lot of our accounts. It works for us. We've seen the area change quite a bit over the years, but our routine stays mostly the same. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the day's work to begin. It's a quiet, steady way of doing things and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep the fabric moving and the doors open for anyone who needs it for their own tailoring or shops.
