Sahiba Fabrics Limited

Out at Block No. 93/94 in Jolwa Patiya, things feel a bit more industrial compared to the cramped markets in the city. Sahiba Fabrics Limited has a good amount of space here in the Tal. Palsana area. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but we like having the extra room to move things around. The building is large and mostly functional, with high ceilings and concrete floors. We don't have much for decorations, maybe just a few calendars on the wall and some old chairs in the break area. Most of the day is spent loading and unloading trucks that come through the Patiya. It can be dusty work, and we all wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. There is a small dhaba nearby where we usually get our lunch, and the food there is simple but filling. We don't try to sound like a big corporation because we aren't one; we’re just a bunch of people working with fabrics every day. The machines can be loud, so we have to shout a bit to be heard sometimes. It is a straightforward way of life. We focus on the tasks at hand and don't worry too much about the rest. The weather in Palsana can be quite dry, so we keep plenty of water on hand. It’s a solid place to work, and we’ve built a good routine over the years we’ve been here.
