Sahiba Fabrics Limited

Being located at Krishna Textile Market near the J.J. A.C. Market on Ring Road means there is never a dull moment. Sahiba Fabrics Limited has been operating from this location for quite some time now. The building itself is always humming with activity. You can hear the sounds of people shouting to each other and the constant rolling of carts filled with goods. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we have plenty of what people are looking for once they step inside. We don't use fancy lighting or expensive displays. Most of our stuff is just stacked on wooden pallets or metal shelves that have seen better days. It works for us, though. We spend a lot of time talking to the regular customers who come in every week. It feels more like a community than just a place of business. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the paperwork, and the market feels completely different when it’s empty and quiet. It’s a bit eerie but also peaceful. My hands are usually a bit stained from the dyes in the fabrics by the end of the shift. We just do things the way we’ve always done them, without trying to be something we’re not. It is a lot of hard work, but we are used to it by now. The Ring Road area is tough, but it’s where we belong.
