Sagar Sarees Center

The shop is over in the Koramangala Industrial Layout. It's right off the Ring Road, so you can't really miss the area, though the traffic can be a real headache sometimes. We are at G/622. Sagar Sarees Center has been here since things started developing around this part of Bangalore. When we first moved in, there weren't as many big buildings. Now, everything is changing fast. We keep the place simple. There are stacks of sarees everywhere you look. Sometimes it feels like we are running out of shelf space, but we manage to fit everything in. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks who come in are just passing by on the Ring Road or work in the nearby offices. It gets pretty dusty with all the construction going on outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the counters. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, arrange the stock, and talk to whoever walks through the door. Usually, it's quiet in the mornings, then picks up after lunch. We don't have fancy lights or a big team. It is just us and the clothes. If you need something specific, you might have to wait a minute while we dig through the back piles. That's just how we work. We like being in Koramangala even with the noise. It feels like we are right in the middle of everything here.
