Our shop is G 7 in the Sadar Shopping center. It’s right there at Sahara Darwaja in Surat. If you know Surat, you know how incredibly busy this area gets. There are people and vehicles moving everywhere at all hours. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easier for people to just walk in from the street. We deal in various creations, mostly clothing items that are popular in this market. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of wall space to hang our things. It can look a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is kept. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and customers. The noise from the Sahara Darwaja area is always there in the background. We’ve gotten used to it. We don't have a polished front or anything like that. It’s just a typical Surat market shop with plenty of stock and people coming in to bargain or look around. Some days are much busier than others, especially when the new styles come in. We don't have a big philosophy or anything. We just open up, do our work, and go home when the market starts to quiet down at night. It’s a lot of standing and moving things around, but that’s just how the textile business is here. We’ve been in this spot for a good while and plan to stay here for now.
