Ronak Weaving & Garments

We are located at No. 63/ C in the Mahatma Industrial Estate on Varachha Road. Our daily routine involves a lot of weaving and getting garments ready for the next stage. The estate is a busy place, and our unit is right in the middle of it all. You can hear the rhythmic clicking of the looms from the street before you even walk inside. It’s a sound that stays in your head even after you go home. The space is filled with big machines and large spools of thread in every color you can think of. We spend a lot of time checking the tension on the threads and making sure nothing gets tangled up. It’s dusty work, and we all wear old clothes because of the lint that flies around. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep our logs and the old telephone that still rings too loudly. The roof is made of corrugated metal, so when it rains, you can’t hear yourself think over the drumming sound. We’ve had to patch a few leaks over the years, but the place holds up. We just focus on the production side of things, making sure the cloth is woven right and the garments are stitched together properly. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but it’s what we do.
