Riddhi Sarees

You can find Riddhi Sarees over at the Shiv Shakti Textile Market, which sits right on the Ring Road. We are in unit number 2122-23. It’s a pretty large market and it can be a bit confusing with all the different corridors, but we are in a spot that we've made quite comfortable over the years. The Ring Road is always a mess of traffic and noise, but once you step into the Shiv Shakti building, it feels a little more contained, even if it is still very busy. We have two units joined together so we have a bit more room to breathe than some of our neighbors. Most of our day is spent unboxing new arrivals or checking through what we already have on the racks. There are usually a few tea cups sitting around on the tables and a lot of paper scraps on the floor from all the packing we do. The lighting is that bright fluorescent kind you get in these big markets, and it stays on from morning until we lock up at night. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just some sturdy tables and shelves that have seen better days. It's a place for working, and that's what we do. The neighbors in the market are mostly friendly and we often talk about how the business is going while we wait for the freight elevators. We just keep at it day after day until the work is finally done.
