Red Hale is situated over at Athwa Nav Rozi Land. It is an interesting little spot, not exactly what you would expect if you are used to the big retail chains or the crowded mobile markets. The space is a bit more modern looking than some of the older shops in this part of Athwa, but it still has a very local, personal vibe to it. We have got some nice displays set up for the items we sell, but nothing looks too polished or corporate. It feels more like a workshop or a small studio in some ways. We spend our days here dealing with the day-to-day business tasks, talking to the people who wander in from the Nav Rozi Land area. The neighborhood is a mix of old buildings and new spots, which is kind of like the way we run things. We have some sturdy wooden tables where we show our products, and the walls are mostly bare except for a few necessary shelves and a clock. It is a relatively quiet place to work in the mornings before the afternoon rush starts and the street gets noisy. I usually make a small pot of tea around four o’clock, and the smell of it fills the whole shop for a while. People often ask us about the name, and I just tell them it seemed like a good, simple fit for the kind of place we wanted to have. It is just a regular business at the end of the day, located in a part of town that we really like.
