Ramdev Saree

Ramdev Saree is based out of Bhungaliya Niwas in the Katargam area. It’s more of a traditional setup compared to the big malls you see popping up everywhere. Katargam has its own vibe, and we’ve been part of it for quite a while. Our place in Bhungaliya Niwas is where everything happens. It’s where we keep the sarees and where we meet anyone who wants to see what we have. It’s not a polished storefront. It feels more like a home that turned into a business over the years. We have stacks of fabric everywhere, and the smell of the market is always drifting in through the windows. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us by word of mouth or by just walking past and seeing what’s on the racks. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here. We take our time with our customers and don't try to rush anyone. Usually, there’s a pot of tea going and we’re just chatting about the day. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just selling sarees and making enough to keep the lights on and the family fed. It’s a simple existence at Bhungaliya Niwas, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We know the people around here and they know us. That’s enough for us to keep going every morning without any fancy mission statements.
