Rajat Textile is tucked away in Bhajipala Lane on Ring Road. We’ve been at U 2029 for a while now. Most days it’s pretty busy with all the traffic coming through the market. If you know this part of the city, you know how tight the lanes get. We spend most of our mornings moving rolls around and checking the new arrivals. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes it gets quite noisy outside with the rickshaws and people shouting, but that’s just life here. We usually open up early to beat the heat, though it doesn't always work. The stairs up to our unit can be a bit steep if you aren't used to it. Most people just call us or drop by when they are already in the area for other work. It’s a lot of manual labor, counting pieces and making sure the piles don't fall over. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure orders go out on time. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical setup. Nothing too special to look at from the outside, just another door in the row. We’ve seen the market change quite a bit over the years. Bhajipala Lane stays the same though, always crowded and always moving. We just keep our heads down and work through the day until it's time to lock up and head home for some dinner.
