Rahul Sarees

Our shop is located at 204 Shantikala Apartment, which is right across from the Maharaja Cinemax in Salabatpura. Having the cinema right there makes it easy to give directions to people who haven't visited us before. The space we have is more like a working warehouse than a shiny retail store. Most of our time is spent going through different sarees and checking the work on them. It is a lot of manual checking. We often stay late when a big order comes in, especially right before the wedding season kicks off. The street outside gets noisy with the cinema crowds, but we don't really mind the noise. It makes the whole neighborhood feel a bit more alive. I started this with a couple of friends. We didn't have much at the beginning, just some empty shelves and a few ideas. Now we have sarees piled up everywhere. It looks a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we know where every single piece is kept. We don't follow a very strict corporate schedule here. If someone needs to take a break or go home early for family stuff, it is fine. We treat the staff more like family. People come in, sit on the floor cushions, and look through the stock. It is a traditional way of doing business, and we prefer it that way. It is quiet, personal, and it works for us.
