Radhika Sarees & Fabrics Suppliers is located in the Textile Tower, specifically at No. 215. We are right on the Ring Road, which is pretty much the heart of the textile trade around here. Working in the Textile Tower means we are surrounded by other businesses just like ours. It’s a massive building and it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We spend our days surrounded by stacks of fabric and rolls of sarees. There isn't much empty space in our unit because we try to keep a lot of variety on hand. The elevators in the tower can be slow sometimes, especially during the peak hours of the day when everyone is moving goods around. We’ve been in this spot on the Ring Road for a long time. It’s a noisy, busy environment, but that’s just how the textile business is. We handle a lot of shipping and receiving. Boxes coming in and bundles going out is the norm for us. My brother and I usually manage the daily stuff. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to the people who come in and handle our suppliers. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy rolls and checking invoices. We stay until the tower starts to empty out in the evening. It is a tiring job but it keeps us busy and we like the community in the building.
