R Mansukhlal & Co is located at 6/837 in Chhaparia Sheri. This is right in the heart of Mahidharpura. It is an old part of the city with narrow streets and a lot of history. Our building is a bit older, too. We have got a post box number, 212, because the mail can be a bit tricky to deliver directly to these small lanes sometimes. The area is famous for its diamond and jewelry trade, so it is always busy with people carrying small parcels. We are not in that trade specifically, but we share the same atmosphere. The lane can get quite cramped when a bike tries to pass a person walking. Inside, we have our ledgers and our workspace set up like it has been for years. It is a very grounded place. We do not use much modern technology besides the basics. There is a sense of routine that we all follow. We have tea delivered from the stall at the corner twice a day. The light in the sheri is not great, so we rely on the indoor lamps even during the day. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the decades, but our little corner stays mostly the same. It is a quiet kind of busy. We deal with our business matters steadily. People who know the area find us easily enough, but it is a bit of a hidden spot for strangers.
