R. K. Narrow Fabrics

Our place, R. K. Narrow Fabrics, is located in Gridhar Society along U. M. Road. It is more of a residential-feeling area compared to the big markets downtown. We are set up in the society, which makes it a bit quieter, but we still have plenty to do. We handle all kinds of narrow fabrics, and the shop is usually filled with spools and rolls of different materials. The U. M. Road gets a lot of traffic, but once you turn into Gridhar Society, it calms down a bit. We have a small team here. We don't have any formal uniforms or corporate rules. We just show up and get to work. Most days involve measuring out lengths of fabric and making sure the orders are ready for pickup. We have some old wooden chairs where we sit when things are slow, though that doesn't happen often. The windows let in some good light during the morning, which helps when we are looking at the colors. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years and they know exactly where to find us in the society. It is a steady business and we like it that way. No big surprises, just the usual daily routine of handling fabrics and talking to the people who use them.
