R. K. Creations

H-3183-84 in the New Textile Market is where we spend most of our daylight hours. R. K. Creations is right in the thick of the Ring Road action. If you have ever been to this market, you know how hectic it gets when the trucks are unloading. Our unit is a double space, so we have a bit more room than some of the neighbors, but it still fills up fast with bundles. There is always a smell of new cloth and floor cleaner in the air. We don't have any fancy furniture, just some sturdy benches and plenty of shelves. The phone rings a lot, mostly people asking if their stuff is ready yet. We try to keep up, but some days are harder than others when the power goes out or the delivery is late. We eat our lunch right at the desk most days because there is no point in trying to go out in that traffic. The market has its own rhythm, and we have been part of it for a long time. We aren't trying to be the biggest or anything, just keeping the business going day by day. It is hard work and the hours are long, especially during the festival seasons. But the people around here are good, and we all help each other out when someone needs a hand moving heavy bundles of fabric.
