Prerna Creations

You have to climb up to the second floor to find us at 32/99. We are near the 2nd Cross in the 1st Stage area off A K Road. The Ring Road is always a mess of cars and bikes, so it’s actually a bit quieter once you get inside and go upstairs. Prerna Creations is a place with a lot of shelves. Most of them are sagging a bit under the weight of the cloth bundles. We have some old wooden chairs for when we need to take a break or eat. The window looks out over the street, but it’s usually too dusty to see much of anything. We spend our time sorting through orders and making sure everything is packed correctly for the trucks. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; we still write a lot of stuff down in big ledgers with blue covers. The floor is swept every morning, but by noon it’s covered in bits of thread and paper again. We have a small stove in the corner to make coffee or tea when we need a boost. It’s a practical space. We don't worry about how it looks to outsiders. As long as we can find what we need, we’re happy. The building is old and the walls have some cracks, but it’s been our home for a long time now. We just work.
