Prakash Sarees & Dress Materials

Our place is at Katargam Darwaja, the address is 41369. It’s a busy area and sometimes finding the exact door can be a bit of a chore for new people. We have been dealing with sarees and dress materials here for quite a while. The shop is filled with different fabrics and colors. We don't really have a big staff, so it’s usually just us handling everything from opening the shutters to sweeping the floor at night. The dress materials take up a lot of space because they come in these big rolls or folded bundles. We spend a lot of time helping people match things up. It’s funny how people can spend an hour just looking for the right shade of green. We don't mind, though. It’s part of the job. The building is old and has a lot of character, even if the walls could use some fresh paint. We like the location because the Darwaja is a landmark everyone knows. Usually, we have tea around four in the afternoon when the sun starts to go down a bit. That’s our favorite time of day. It’s just a simple business without any of those flashy signs or loud music. We just keep the shelves stocked and wait for the regulars to come through the door. It is a lot of work but it keeps us busy enough.
