Our little spot is over at Manoj Market, unit 121, which is right by Sahara Darwaja. If you know the Ring Road area, you know how crowded it gets around here. There is always someone shouting or a truck trying to squeeze through the narrow parts. We have been in this same shop for a long time. It’s mostly just us surrounded by bags and bundles of stuff. The market has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. Some mornings we spend just moving things around so we can actually walk inside the shop. It is not a very big place, so every inch of floor space usually has something sitting on it. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. People just come in, ask what we have, and we dig it out from the back or under a table. Sometimes the fans don't work right and it gets hot, but that’s just life in Sahara Darwaja. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here too. We eat lunch together when it’s quiet. It is a lot of work keeping track of what comes in and what goes out every day. We don't really have a big plan, we just show up and do the work. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we like it that way because it feels real and not like a mall.
