Patiala Shahi - Tandoori Nights

Patiala Shahi - Tandoori Nights is our little spot in Surat. We are located in Pragati Nagar, right in the Piplod area. If you go behind the Sardayatan school, you will find us there. The pin code is 395007. We mostly focus on tandoori cooking because that’s what we know how to do best. It’s a very simple operation. We have the ovens going in the back and a few tables out front. It’s not the kind of place where you come for a fancy candlelit dinner. It’s more for when you want some real food and don't want to deal with a lot of fuss. The heat from the tandoor makes the whole place smell like charcoal and bread. We work hard to keep up with the orders, especially in the evenings when things get busy. The staff are just regular guys working the kitchen and helping out. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything, we just rely on people in Piplod knowing we are here. Sometimes we get a bit messy when it’s crowded, but we clean up as fast as we can. It’s just an honest local food joint. We like being near the school and part of this neighborhood.
