We are over at E-4601 in the Nityanand Market, which sits right on the Ring Road. It’s a massive market and finding our unit can be a bit tricky if you don't know the layout. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. Our daily routine is mostly about checking orders and making sure the crates are packed tight so nothing breaks during transit. We have a lot of wooden pallets stacked up near the entrance and a heavy metal desk where all the paperwork gets done. It’s not a quiet office. You can hear the trucks shifting gears outside and people shouting across the loading bays all day. We use old-fashioned ledgers for a lot of our tracking because it’s just easier for us than relying on the computer all the time, especially when the internet is slow. There’s a small stove in the corner where we make coffee for ourselves and any drivers who have to wait for their loads. We don’t have a logo on our shirts or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving boxes around. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for a long time. We just keep our heads down and make sure the exports get to where they’re supposed to go. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living.
