Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan

This building is located right on B T Kawade Road, near the City Light area. We’ve been running Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan as a place for the local community to gather. It’s a big space, nothing too complicated about it. We have rooms and halls that get used for all sorts of things throughout the year. Sometimes it’s a small family thing, other times it’s something bigger. The walls have seen a lot of events over the years. We keep the place clean, but it’s an older style of building, not one of those glass and steel places. Most people who live around here know exactly where we are. It’s a landmark for some. We don't have a big office staff or anything, just a few people who look after the keys and the maintenance. If someone needs the space, they come talk to us and we figure out the dates. It’s pretty straightforward. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first opened, with more traffic on the road now, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It gets noisy on the weekends, but that’s normal for this part of town. We don't put up a lot of ads. Most of our bookings come from people who have been here before or live nearby. It’s a practical place for practical needs. We just try to keep the lights on and the floors swept for whoever needs it next. That's how we run it.
