Madhar Exports

Madhar Exports is located in the New Lucky Textile Market, right on the Ring Road. We take up units 101 to 110, so it is a decent-sized space for our textile business. Being near Mahavir Market means there is always a crowd and a lot of vehicles moving around. If you have ever been to the Ring Road area, you know how hectic it can get. We spend our days surrounded by piles of cloth and bundles ready for shipping. Most of the work involves checking the quality of the fabrics and making sure everything is packed correctly. It is a lot of manual work, moving bales from one corner to another. We do not have a polished showroom; it is more of a functional warehouse and office combined. The phones ring quite a bit and there are always couriers coming in and out. We have been here for a while and have seen the market change over the years. Some days the lifts in the building do not work, and we have to carry things up and down the stairs, which is quite a task. It is just how it is working in an old market building. We focus on getting the textiles out to our buyers without making a big deal of it. It is a straightforward business and we just keep at it every day. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually our only break.
