Running Maa Khodiyar Fast Food over here on Nanavat Senapati Bapat Marg 22 keeps me pretty busy most days. I usually get the stove going early because there’s always something that needs prepping before the lunch crowd starts showing up. It’s a lively spot, especially with the traffic on Senapati Bapat Marg constantly moving right outside the door. Sometimes the smoke from the pans gets a bit thick, so I have to keep the fans running high. We’ve got a few tables, nothing special, just sturdy enough for people to sit and eat their snacks. It’s mostly workers from the nearby offices and locals who live around Nanavat coming in. I’ve seen kids grow up around here, and now they come in as adults to get a quick bite. The floors get a bit messy during the rush, but I try to mop them down whenever I get a spare five minutes. It’s not a quiet place, between the clinking of plates and the cars honking outside, but it feels right to me. I don’t bother much with decorations or anything like that. People come here because they know the spot and they know what to expect. It’s just me and a couple of others trying to keep up with the orders. Usually, by the time we close up at night, my feet are pretty tired, but then we just do it all again the next day. It's just a regular food joint.
