If you go to the Ahura Shopping center in Adajan, you’ll find us at shops 5, 6, and 7. We are right across from Samarth Park, which is a nice landmark to look for if you’re coming from the Adajan char rasta side. This part of Surat is always moving. The shopping center gets a lot of foot traffic, especially in the evenings when people are out running errands or taking a walk in the park. We took over these three shop units to have enough room for everyone to sit comfortably. It’s not a big corporate chain or anything like that. It’s just our restaurant where we spend most of our waking hours. The windows look out toward the park, so you can see people playing or sitting on the benches while you sit at our tables. We have a mix of regular customers who live in the apartments nearby and people just stopping in because they were at the shopping center. The chairs are the basic plastic and metal kind, and the menus are simple. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or designer lights. We just focus on keeping the kitchen going and making sure the floor is swept. It gets busy during the lunch rush, so sometimes you have to wait a minute for a table, but that’s just how it is. It’s a local business run by people who live right here in Surat. We hope it stays that way for a long time.
