Krishna Mandap Service

We operate out of Krishna Complex on Varachha Road, which is part of the Maitreya Baug area in Surat. The address is 4-G Varachha Road Poud Road 395006. Krishna Mandap Service is what we do for a living. Basically, we provide the tents, the chairs, and the decorations for weddings and local functions. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and late nights. We keep all our poles and fabrics in the warehouse here. It’s usually a mess of pipes and colored cloth when we are preparing for a big event. I started this with a few sets of chairs and now we have enough to cover a whole ground. We don’t have a big office with air conditioning. We mostly meet people right here in the complex or at the site where the mandap needs to go. My team is mostly guys from the neighborhood who know how to tie a knot tight. We don’t use any computer designs to show you what it will look like; we just show you photos of what we did last week. Sometimes the weather ruins a tent and we have to scramble to fix it. It’s not a glamorous job but we like being part of the celebrations. We just do our work and go home.
