Essar Group

We are over at House 2 in the Bensidher Row House complex. It is right opposite the Iskon Temple in the Jhangirpura area of Surat. Having the temple right there makes it easy to give people directions. We have been at this address for quite a bit now. It is a row house, so it doesn't look like your typical corporate office from the outside. Inside, it is just a normal workspace where the Essar Group team handles local business. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the essentials for getting through the day. Jhangirpura is a nice part of Gujarat to work in. It feels a bit more open than the city center. We start our mornings with the usual routine of sorting through the mail and checking our digital logs. There isn't much to the way we work other than just being consistent. We don't go in for big meetings or long speeches. We just talk across the desks when something needs to be solved. Being in a row house means we have to be mindful of the neighbors, so we keep things relatively quiet. It’s a comfortable enough spot for the five or six of us who are usually here. We have everything organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. It's just where we do our thing.
