Crazy Bite Restaurant

If you know where Kargil Chowk is in Piplod, then you can find us pretty easily. We are right on Surat Dumas Road. It’s a very noisy part of Surat, especially with all the cars and bikes going past all day long. Our place, Crazy Bite Restaurant, is just a simple setup where we try to get people fed. We spend a lot of time in the mornings just doing prep-work, cutting up onions and making sure the stove is working right. It gets really hot in the kitchen during the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We don't really have a big fancy entrance. It's just the door and some chairs inside. A lot of students and people working nearby stop in for a quick bite during their breaks. We see them looking at their phones or chatting while they wait for their food. We try not to keep anyone waiting too long, but when it’s full, it takes a bit of time. Everything is pretty straightforward here. We buy our supplies locally and just cook what people ask for. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up or just sit for a minute. It’s just a regular local business. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. Just a place in Piplod where you can get something to eat and then get back to your day without spending too much.
