Chaliwala Dinesh

Dinesh is here at Parle Point. The address is 1837 42. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it specifically. Usually, the shutters go up around nine in the morning. It’s just how things go. No fancy signs or anything like that. People come by when they need something. The street outside gets really crowded in the evenings. You can hear the bikes and cars all day. Inside, it's mostly quiet. We have some old chairs and a desk. Most of the time is spent just keeping things organized. It’s not a big corporate thing. Just Dinesh and a couple of us helping out. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we do. Parle Point has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner stays the same. We know the guy who sells tea at the corner. He brings it over in those small glass cups twice a day. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a simple way to run a business. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just this place on Parle Point. If you walk past 1837 42, you’ll see the door is usually open. That’s about it really. Just a regular day for Chaliwala Dinesh and the rest of us.
