Center Point Fast Food

Our small shop is right on the Ring Road, inside the Sarvodaya Textile Market. If you know the market, you know it’s a chaotic place with trucks, rickshaws, and people moving large rolls of cloth everywhere. We are here to provide food for the people who work in the stalls and the drivers who are passing through. Because we do fast food, everything is geared towards speed. We don't have a lot of room for people to sit, so most customers just stand by the counter or take their food back to their shops. The smell of frying oil is something we are just used to by now. We spend a lot of time prepping the snacks and making sure we have enough change in the till. It gets very dusty because of all the traffic on the Ring Road, so we have to wipe down the counters multiple times a day. We open early in the morning when the market starts to wake up and we don't really stop until things quiet down in the evening. It’s a simple business without any frills. We know many of our customers by name because they come here every single day for their tea or a quick bite. It’s loud and busy, but that’s just the nature of working in a big textile market like Sarvodaya. We just focus on keeping the food hot and serving people as fast as possible.
