Bhimji Jewellers

If you walk down Ghod Dod Road toward the 2nd Cross, you will find us inside the Shiv Shakti Shopping Centre. We are in the 1st Block, not too far from Ram Chowk. It is a good spot because everyone knows where the chowk is. The shop has been here quite a bit and we have seen a lot of people grow up in this area. We spend our mornings cleaning the glass cases and making sure everything looks right before the first person walks in. It is mostly gold and silver stuff that people need for weddings or just small gifts. Sometimes the lights in the shopping center flicker a bit, but we just keep working. We know most of our neighbors by name since we see them every single morning when they open their shutters. It gets pretty crowded on weekends when families come out to shop. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us here making sure things stay organized. My father used to say that a shop is only as good as the people who come back twice. We don't do fancy speeches. We just show you what we have in the boxes. The street outside is always full of scooters and people talking loudly, which makes the day go by fast. Bhimji Jewellers is a quiet place once you step inside. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out the noise from the traffic. It is a simple life.
