Bansaree Handicrafts

We're located over at Savera Complex near Udhana Naher. Bansaree Handicrafts started out small and we’ve stayed that way for the most part. It's a busy area, especially with the canal nearby. We focus on handicrafts, mostly things people make with their hands and simple tools. It’s a lot of work looking through different items and choosing what to keep in the shop. We have a lot of stuff packed into unit 123/24. Sometimes it feels a bit crowded in here, but that’s how it goes when you have so many different pieces on the shelves. Most of the people who work here live close by in Udhana. We get a lot of locals walking past the complex every day. We aren't trying to be some big global brand or anything like that. We just like the items we sell. Every piece has its own look and sometimes they have small flaws. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching or the finishes. It’s not always perfect, but that's what happens when things aren't made by a big machine. We open up early and stay until the evening. The Savera Complex is a good spot for us. It’s easy for people to find once they are in the neighborhood. We just try to be fair with everyone and keep the shelves full of interesting things. Some days are busier than others, especially when a new shipment arrives from the makers. We just take it day by day and try to do a good job.
