If you go down to Rander and find the K K Marcket, you will see us at shop number 6. This is Alefiya Corner and it is a small place crammed with all sorts of stuff. The market is always loud with people shouting and bikes moving through the narrow parts. We open up early and the first thing I do is move some of the boxes outside so there is actually room to stand inside. It is a bit dusty because of the construction nearby but we try to keep the shelves clean when we can. Mostly we have locals who have been coming to this market for years. They know exactly where everything is kept. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon and we just sit there in the dark waiting for it to come back on. I usually have tea with the guy from the shop next door while we wait. The walls could use a new coat of paint and the ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it is on high speed. It gets very crowded on the weekends and it is hard to hear what anyone is saying over the noise. We just keep things moving and try to remember who asked for what. It is a busy life here in the market but we are used to it by now and wouldn't really know what else to do with our time.
