Aashapura Fast Food

Aashapura Fast Food is over at Shop No. M-17 on the road that goes from Bombay Market to Punagam in Surat. We are located in the Jayvant Township area of Umarwada. Unlike a grocery store, our place is more about the kitchen. We spend most of the afternoon prepping ingredients and getting the stove ready for the evening rush. It gets pretty hot in here with the burners going and the Surat humidity, but that’s just part of the job. People from the township come by when they don't feel like cooking at home. We serve the kind of food that’s quick and easy. The shop isn't very large, so it’s mostly people standing around or taking their food to go. We have a few tables but it’s usually pretty cramped. The road outside is always busy with bikes and cars going towards Punagam. We don't have a big menu or anything complicated, just the standard fast food items that people like. Managing the orders when everyone arrives at once can be a bit of a headache, but we just take them one by one. It’s a loud, greasy, and busy little spot, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of it over the years. We stay open pretty late to make sure people coming back from work can get something to eat. The floor needs cleaning constantly, and there's always a stack of dishes waiting. It's just what we do every day to keep things moving. We just hope the stove keeps working and the supplies arrive on time.
