Zabervan Restaurant

Being on The Boulevard in Srinagar is something special. We are right at the heart of where everything happens near the water. The road is always full of tourists and locals walking along the edge of the lake. We have a simple setup here at Zabervan Restaurant. It is not one of those high-end places with white tablecloths and fancy waiters. We have plain tables and a view of the street. The weather changes fast here, and we have to be ready for the rain or the sun at a moment's notice. Most of our day is spent prepping vegetables and meat for the evening rush. When the sun goes down, the lights on the Boulevard come on and the area looks completely different. We get a lot of people who are just tired from walking and want a place to sit. We don't have a big menu with hundreds of items. We just do a few things and try to do them right every time. The staff has been with us for a long time, so we work like a family. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we can barely hear the customers, but we make it work. It’s a lively place to be. We don’t use any marketing tricks to get people in. They just see the sign and walk through the door when they are hungry. It has been our way for a long time.
