Good fellas

We've been at Dhanji bhai on the Bund for a while now. It's a busy spot here on Residency Road in Srinagar. Some days the weather is nice and clear, other days it gets a bit cold and quiet. We're right near that Suffering Moses place. People usually find us when they are walking around the Bund looking for stuff. It’s not a huge place, just a normal shop where we keep things moving. I usually get here in the morning, open up the shutters, and see who comes by. There is a lot of history on this road, so you see all kinds of people, locals and some travelers too. The shop has a few shelves and a counter that has seen better days, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons. We don't do anything fancy. Most of the time it’s just about making sure things are in order and talking to whoever walks through the door. It’s a good spot to be in, honestly. You get a view of the river if you walk out a bit. We just try to keep the place tidy and handle the daily work as it comes. It's not always easy, but we've been here long enough that it feels like home now. If you're around Residency Road, you'll probably see us near the old buildings.
