Delhi Ki Rasoi

Our kitchen is located in the Boulevard Shopping Complex on Boulevard Road. We are right near Dal Lake, which is the heart of Srinagar. It’s a beautiful spot to be in, even when it’s freezing outside. We call it Delhi Ki Rasoi because we wanted to bring those specific flavors to this part of Jammu and Kashmir. It’s not a big corporate eatery. It’s just a small rasoi where we cook every day. The shopping complex is always busy with people going to the lake or the shops nearby. We have a few tables, but a lot of people just take their food and go sit by the water. We try to keep things honest and simple. No fancy decorations or confusing names on the menu. Just food that fills you up. My cousin and I run the place with a bit of help in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out or the supply truck is late because of the mountain roads, but we manage. We’ve been at this 190001 address for a bit now and have made some good friends in the neighborhood. It’s a nice way to spend the day, looking at the lake and serving food to travelers and locals alike. If you are walking along the Boulevard, you can’t really miss us. We usually keep a big pot of tea going for ourselves too. Come say hi if you're passing by the Dal Lake area.
