Al Samad Restaurant is located in the Lal Bazar area of Srinagar. We are specifically in Munirabad, near the Axis Bank. If you know the 190023 zip code, you probably have passed us a few times. It is a busy part of town and we have been here for a good while. The restaurant is a straightforward place. We don’t have any of those fancy decorations or high-end furniture. It is just a spot for people to come and eat. We keep things simple because that’s what we know. The guys working here are all local and we don’t go in for any corporate training or polished speeches. We just say hello and get to work. Being near the bank means we see a lot of people throughout the day, which keeps the kitchen busy. We don't have a marketing budget or any big ads. People mostly just know us because we’ve been here so long. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded and dusty, but that’s just how Lal Bazar is. We try to keep the place decent and the food ready. It is an honest business and we take it one day at a time. We don't try to be anything special, just a local restaurant for the people in Munirabad. If you are in the neighborhood, we are easy enough to find. We just keep the doors open and do our bit.
