Aroma Restaurant

We have been running Aroma Restaurant here on Boulevard Road for quite a while now. Being right by Makai Park means we see a lot of different people every day. It is usually pretty busy in the mornings when the sun starts coming up over the lake. We spent a lot of time getting the tables right and making sure the kitchen had enough space for everyone to work. Srinagar is a beautiful place but it can get cold, so we try to keep the inside warm for whoever walks in. Sometimes people just want a quick bite while they are walking along the road, and other times families sit down for a long lunch. We don't really have a big fancy setup, just some good chairs and a menu that we know how to cook well. It is a lot of work keeping things clean and making sure we have enough fresh ingredients delivered every day. The traffic on Boulevard Road can be a bit loud in the afternoons, but you get used to it after a few years. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all know the neighborhood pretty well. We aren't trying to do anything too complicated here. It is just a regular spot where you can get a decent meal without much fuss. We open up early and stay until the last person leaves. That is pretty much how things go for us every day in Srinagar.
