Burge Green Guest House and Restuarant

Burge Green Guest House and Restuarant is located in the Burge Green Building in the Momin Abad area of Batamaloo, Srinagar. We are right on the main road, which is very close to the District Court Complex. Because of where we are, we get a lot of people who are in town for legal matters or people traveling through Srinagar who need a place to rest. The guest house is simple and functional. We do not have the luxury of the big hotels by the lake, but we provide a roof and a bed for those who need it. The restaurant downstairs serves basic meals that remind you of home cooking. Srinagar can get very cold, so we spend a lot of time making sure there is enough tea and that the blankets are ready. The main road in Batamaloo is always noisy with buses and people, but once you come inside, it is a bit more relaxed. We have been running this place for a while, and we know how to handle the busy days when the courts are in session. It is hard work keeping up with the cleaning and the kitchen, but it is what we do. We are just local people running a guest house for other regular people. We do not have a fancy website or big advertisements. We just stay here and wait for the next guest to arrive.
