Walisons Restaurant

Walisons Restaurant is inside Hotel Walisons at Dalgate in Srinagar. We are on the 1st Lane Boulevard Dalgate, 190001. Being so close to the lake means we see people coming and going all the time throughout the year. The weather here really dictates how our days go. When it is snowing, things move a bit slower and we spend more time making sure the place is warm for anyone coming in from the cold. In the summer months, it gets much more hectic with all the visitors in the area. We have been at this address for a long time now. It is not a fancy corporate operation; it is just a local setup that we run. We spend our hours in the kitchen and the dining area, making sure things are ready for the day. There is nothing too complicated about it. We don't have a list of goals or a mission on the wall. We just do the work that needs to be done. Sometimes the supplies don't arrive on time because of the mountain roads being blocked, but we just keep going anyway. The staff is mostly people from the local neighborhood. We aren't interested in being a big chain or anything. We just like running our restaurant here by the Boulevard. It is a practical way to make a living. The first lane can be quiet or busy depending on the day, and we just take it as it comes. Most people find us because of the hotel name. We stay focused on the kitchen.
