Tafree Restaurant

We are located inside Hotel Broadway right on M.A. Road. It’s a busy spot but once you walk into the hotel and find us, things quiet down a bit. The kitchen stays pretty active most of the day because people are always coming in for a meal. We have been here for a while now and the staff knows the regulars by name. It’s not a huge place but it works for what we do. You can see the street from some of the windows and it’s interesting to watch the traffic go by. We spend a lot of time making sure the tables are set right and the kitchen has what it needs from the market every morning. Usually, the morning shift starts early to get the prep done before the lunch crowd shows up. We don’t really do anything fancy here, just normal food that people like to eat when they are staying at the hotel or passing through the city. Sometimes it gets loud when the restaurant is full but that’s just how it goes. We try to keep things clean and tidy but it's an old building so it has its quirks. Most of us have worked here for years and we just get on with the work. M.A. Road is a central part of the area so we get all kinds of people coming through our doors. It’s a busy spot. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood for us now.
