Up here in Srinagar, Success College Of Professional Courses is located on the Main Road in Naikpora Padshahi Bagh. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but being in the Jawahar Nagar area makes it a central spot for anyone looking to pick up some new skills. When the winter hits and the snow starts piling up, we spend a lot of time making sure the rooms stay warm enough for people to actually type or write. The building itself is simple, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose for the computer and professional classes we run. You’ll find people of all ages coming through the doors, some looking for a better job and others just wanting to learn something new. The desks are a bit scratched and the chairs might squeak, but the internet usually works, and that’s what matters most for the courses. We have a small team here who handles the admissions and the teaching. It’s a very informal atmosphere; we don’t stand on ceremony or care much for titles. If someone has a question, they just walk into the office and ask. Srinagar is a beautiful place, but our focus is strictly on getting through the syllabus and making sure the students know their stuff before they head home through the busy streets.
